3 BUDGET-FRIENDLY BUFFETS IN SINGAPORE

Note: Japanese buffets, Korean BBQ buffets, and dim sum buffets are not included in this post

With the return of self-service buffets, many restaurants have regained momentum and are offering all kinds of celebratory dishes for the first time in a long time. If you’re planning a full-blown return to buffets but don’t know which venues serve the right menu for the occasion, then this is the list for you.

1. Offshore Bar & Grill

Imagine indulging in all the seafood you could possibly want while taking in the sights, sounds and smells of the sea. That’s exactly the experience you’ll get at Offshore Bar & Grill.

Prices start from $42.90++ per person, which entitles you to a whole seabass and various seasonal seafoods for you to barbecue. An additional $29.90++ or $19.90++ would get you a whole Boston lobster and mud crab, both of which weigh in at 500g.

2. Crystal Cafe

One of the more unique picks on this list, Crystal Cafe’s Taiwan Porridge Buffet (from $18.80++) is perfect for those looking for a diverse range of dishes to go along with their gruel.

The braised items are all superb: whether it be pig trotters or pork belly, their robust braising and savouriness make them perfect porridge companions. There’s also a decent selection of fresh seafood dishes, including dory fish and prawns.

3. K Zai Lok Lok

If a dozen or so lok lok skewers is not enough for you, then head on down to a lok lok buffet such as A.K Zai Lok Lok. For $19.90+ per person, you get to binge on more than 50 types of lok lok, which can either be enjoyed fried or grilled. An additional $10 is required to boil your skewers in one of the following soup bases: tom yum, curry, mala, laksa, satay, and pork broth.
