Jiro Ono (小野 二郎) is a Japanese chef and owner of Sukiyabashi Jiro, a Japanese sushi restaurant in Ginza, Chūō, Tokyo, Japan. Ono is credited by food artisans, contemporaries and critics as the greatest sushi craftsman alive. His presence is almost treated as a living national treasure.
